Twenty-eight Logansport, Indiana, Pharos-Trtbune Number of New Coses Of Flu Drops Sharply INDIANAPOLIS Indiana State Board of Health reported today that the number of new flu cases nosedived last week to 695. The 695 cases recorded during the 7-day period compared with 2,136 the last preceding week. The new cases raised the year's total to 45,996, compared with 2,007 a year ago and a five-year median of 6,286. Latest flu cases added to the state list included 135 in Clinton County, 100 in Carroll. 97 in Jay, 49 in Gibson, 39 in Harrison, and 25 each in Noble and Tippecanoe.
