and Mrs. Vernon Fowler of Austin, became the wife of Lieut. Wesley Banks II, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Banks of West Memphis, Ark.

The double ring ceremony, which took place at high noon, Saturday, at the home of the bride's parents, was performed by the Rev. Robert L. Rowe, pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Before a beautiful altar, theQ 1 bride, accompanied by v.er fa ther, was met by the groom, the xnald of honor and the grooms man, Lieut. Roscoe D.

Hlnes of Tampa, who is stationed at Bergstrom Air Field. The bride yore an ankle length wedding gown of sheer tune, wun a snapea necjume. The skirt was intercepted with a wide border of ChantlUy lace over taffeta. The bolero was all Chantllly lace. The long sleeves were tapered in a shape, with three buttons at the wrist Her tiara was of white pleated organdy, with a nose tip velL She wore elbow length gloves and white shantung shoes.

Her earrings were white pearls. A white Bible was topped with a white orchid and whii streamers of split carnations and orange blossoms. ATTENDANTS' Mrs. Drucie Rucker Chase of Houston, Texas, matron of honor, wore powder blue nylon lace over taffeta, with an off the face petal hat, studded with rhlnestones. She wore a corsage of pink rosebuds.

The mother of the. bride wore a blue cotton lace street length gown. The bride is a native of Austin where she finished the local schools and atfended Tillotsbn College before going to and be ing graduated from Howard University where she received her B.S. degree in accounting. She Is a member of Delta Sig ma Theta sorority.
