After he fell from the back of a firetruck and fractured his head, Mr. Lamb was subject to seizures and left the department on disability in 1965, said his son. The graveside service for Mr. Lamb, 83, of Snellville, will be 2 p.m. today at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.

DRENNON LUTHER Z. DRENNON -1942 Age 84, of Atlanta died October 10, 2000, following a 14-year battle against cancer. Born in Atlanta, he graduated from Riverside Military Academy in 1933 and Georgia Tech in 1937, and played in the inaugural GaTechGa freshman football game in fall 1933. Luther was a Navy veteran of WWII and later retired as a Captain, USNR. During his life he was owner of Drennon Parts Serv.

Master of Jos. C. Greenfield Lodge No. 400, President of the Senior Golfers Association of Atlanta, and member of the Yaarab Temple, Northside Ki-wanis and Valley Brook Baptist Church. Luther is survived by his wife, Margaret Drennon; three sons, Pat Drennon, Alexandria, VA; Gene Drennon, Atlanta; and Steve Drennon, Spokane, WA; 4 step-children; 3 daughters-in-law; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

His lirst wife. Mary Grace Drennon, predeceased him in February 1996. Memorial services will be held Sunday. October 15, 2000 at 4:00 p.m. at Valley Brook Baptist Church, 1198 N.

Valley Brook Decatur, GA followed by interment at Crestlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 3:00 p.m. Sunday prior to the services at Valley Brook Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. FABER Thomas John Faber, of Newnan, Georgia was born in Chicago, Illinois in June of 1941.

At the age of three, he moved with his family to Memphis, Tennessee and remained until he attended college. Growing up, Tom was involved in Scouting (Eagle Scout), hunting, fishing and sports. Tom graduated from Mississippi State with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked for LaCleue Steel, U.S. Air Force, the Clorox Kmgsford Charcoal Bonner Construction and was a Senior Project Manager for Metric Constructors.

Tom lost his one and one-half year long battle with brain cancer on Tuesday, October 10. 2000. He was a devoted parent to his daughters, a manger who cared about his people, a breeder who. along with his wife, was actively involved with his Morgan Horses and a person who had a heart for God and lite. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, John Faber and Dorothy Branch Faber.

He is survived by two brothers. Dr. Robert B. Faber of Nashville, Tennessee and Richard A. Faber of Memphis, Tennessee; his wile.

Melody R. Faber of Newnan; and two daughters, Lisa L. Faber of Lausanne. Switzerland and Shannon D. Faber of Bethesda, MD.

Visitation hours are being held at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, Newnan, GA on Friday. October 13, from 7:00 to 9.00 PM. Reverend Russell Kendnck will conduct funeral services on Saturday. October 14, at 11 00 AM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 576 Roscoe Road, Newnan, GA.
