He doesn't move it far enough, though, to escape the wrath of Jason, Betsy's son. Jason's death, you may remember, started her murderous rampage. Apparently that hasn't stopped the screenwriters from mysteriously resurrecting him so be can take revenge for her death. This is a most ludicrous arrangement, but no more absurd than what follows. In short order, Jason his hooded head looking like "The Elephant Man" gone astray sets out on his own trail of terror.

Before you know it, eight more people have been murdered in virtually every manner a neck sliced by barbed wire, a skull smashed, a jugular macheteed, a heart speared, et aL The action eventually ends up at Jason's cabin in which he has built an altar for his mother's decomposing head where Paul and his girlfriend Ginny (Amy Steel) battle with the boy. Ginny swings a machete into Jason's torso, and his body is divided into sections. I breathed a big sigh of relief, because I figured "Part 2" was about to conclude. after Paul and Ginny return to their cabin, Jason crashes through the window, more murder in mind. How Jason pieced himself together, I suppose, will be clarified in "Friday the 13th Part 3."
