DUE TO its geographic location, Ohio was a center of the Western anti-slavery movement. This film will present both phases of the 19th century women's rights movement, the earlier, more radical stage'and the later, more conservative stage. Various issues which relate to the present movement will emerge from the dramatic presentations and filming of historic sites and personalities. Some of the women featured are Caroline McCullough Everhard from Massillon, president of the Ohio Woman Suffrage Association from 1890 to 1900; Belsy Cowles from Austinburg, arid Massillon where she was a teacher in our Union School when it opened October 1848; Sojurner Truth, Harriet Taylor Upton from Warren; Frances E.

Watkins Harper, a black woman from Columbus; Jane Edna Hunter, a black woman from Cleveland, and Judge Florence Allen from Cleveland.
