and Mrs. Garnet G. Gililland of Tahoka, was killed in a one-car accident near here Sunday. The boy's parents and sister were hospitalized following the accident. The boy's sister, Vickie Gay, 10, received a broken arm.

Mr. and Mrs. Gililland received bruises and lacerations. They were all said in "satisfactory" condition Monday morning in 0. L.

Phillips Rites Held at Ranger RANGER, July 23 Funeral for 0. L. Phillips, 76, former Ranger resident who died Friday in Tulsa, hospital, was held Monday in the Killingsworth Funeral Home Chapel here. The Rev. Herman Boyd, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiated.

Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Phillips had lived in Rangsince 1918 before moving to Tulsa four years ago to live with a son. He was a druggist here for many years. Survivors are two sons, D.

July 23 (RNS) Funeral for Mrs. F. W. Stegemoeller, 87, who died Sunday morning at Haskell hospital, will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church in Sagerton.

The Rev. E. F. Schoenborn. pastor of the Lutheran Church Albany, will officiate.

Burial will be in Sagerton's Fairview Cemetery under direction of Holden's Funeral Home of Haskell. Grandsons will be pallbearers. Mrs. Stegemoeller, in ill health for several months prior to her death, had lived in Haskell County since 1908, She was born Dec. 29, 1868.

Posen, Germany, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Stolz. She married to F. W.

Stegemoeller William Penn, Texas, Dec. 15, 1891. Mr. ler died 1949. Mrs.

Stegemoeller was a member of the Zion Luthern Church in Sagerton. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. W. P. Neiest of Lubbock and Mrs.

August Blazer of Sagerton; three sons, Will, Fritz, and Clarence Stegemoeller, all of Sagerton: 13 grandchildren and 20 greatgrandchildren: a half-sister, Mrs. Amelie Alfanger of Dallas; and a half-brother, Albert Stolz of Craw- Drowning Victim's Funeral Today Funeral for John H. Glasgow, Abilene man who drowned a stock tank near here Saturday afternoon, was to be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Elliott's Chapel of Me- mories. Pratt, Clarence Corning and Allen McDaniel. 100 to Participate In Food Handlers School This Week Approximately 100 Abilene food handlers are expected to attend the five-day Food Handlers School which opened here Monday morning at the Abilene-Taylor County Health Department. The school is held here four times a year to teach persons who serve the public how and why to handle food sanitarily, Dr. Hugh J.

Stennis, department director, said. Instructions at the school will be directed by Bob Monroe of Austin, health educator of the State Health Department, He will be assisted by sanitarians of the Abilene department. Before a person is licensed by the state to serve food he must successfully complete the Handlers School, Dr. Stennis -aid. After the license is, obtained the person is urged to attend one of the quarterly school sessions at least once every two years, the health director added.
