Rev. John 8teger perform ed the ceremony, using the single ring service. The couple waa attended by Miss Leona Nix as bridesmaid, Miss Marie Johnson as maid of honor, and Carl Johnson as best man. Frederick 'Allea. and Sylvester Neaa acted as ushers.

Legion Auxiliary Elects Delegate i At the regular meeting of the American Legion Auxiliary held Monday evening at the Legion rooms, four delegates, Mrs. Earle Steele, Mrs. D. R. Abel, Mrs.

Glen Smith and Mrs. 8. A. Roach, were elected to attend tite convention to held In South Bend. July 14 28.

Alternates were chosen as Mrs. Edson Groff. Mrs. H. W.

Dem sey, Mrs. Everetta Beatty and Mrs. M. C. Clokey.

Delegates to tha district convention, which probably will be held in Logan sport, are Mrs. Henry Wlndemuth, and Mrs. Clarence Zeigler with Mrs. Carl Robinson and Mrs. WlUafd Fry as alternates.

Mrs. I. C. Hunter will attend both conventions as committee woman. Mrs.

D. R. Abel was elected vice president at the meeting Monday evening. The program was in charge of the Clara Barton circle of which Mrs. Paul Young is chairman.

A highland fling was given by the Misses Wilda and Wanda Shipley and music was furnished by the Southside Syncopat ore. Plans were made for a picnic to be held this month with Mrs. Dwlght Fanning in charge. The next regular meeting will be held August 1 with Mrs. Henry Wlndemuth In charge.

it 1 VISIT WITH RELATIVES 1 Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Washburn 'of the Soldiers' home at Lafayette are In Huntington for a few days' visit with rs Wafhburn'a sona: Charles and Bert Payne and her nephew, C.

Guy Payne, chief of police. Mr. and Mrs. Washburn recently returned from a trip to Toledo, whre they visited relatives. Mrs; Washburn waa an early pioneer of Huntington county, having come here in the days of the canal boat, about She was nine ysars old and came here with her parents from Ohio.

She married Charles Payne In 1868. Sne had always lived In Huntington or this county until a few years ago. Mr. Payne died In 1915 and in 1921 the marriage to Mr. Washburn occurred.

Mrs. Washburn wss Rhoda Gllson before her first marriage. Mr. Payne was an ei sol dler of the civil war. He served In the Thirteenth Indiana cavalry.

The widow went to the Soldiers' nome at Lafayette and later was united In marriage to Mr. Washburn lhat place. Mr. and Mrs. Washburn had resided at the home since their marriage.

They lived for two year sin a small cottage otftbe grounds, but for the last few years have resided in one of the main buildings. THINK GIRL KIDNAPPED BY AUNT AND UNCLE INDIANAPOLIS. June 28. (INS) Police here today were carrying on a search, for seven year old Elizabeth Johnson, alleged to nave been kidnapped from her home here by an aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs.

Dan Gee, of Bedford, Ind. Miss Johnson was taken for an automobile ride by Mr. and Mrs. Gee, who were visiting at the Johnson home, and was never returned, Mrs. Mae Sherllck, another aunt, tola the police.
