Mells Replaces White At Fort Valley Ronald Mells, assistant football coach at Fort Valley State College, has been named the Wildcats' interim basketball coach. Scott Now Says He'll Fight Again James Scott, the Rahway State Prison inmate recently stripped of his World Boxing Association No. 2 light-heavyweight ranking, said he "onretired" Tuesday and will fight two scheduled bouts at the prison this year ;,'V : .-; r Scott said last week that he was retiring from boxing because the WBA wouldn't allow him to fight for the championship while he was imprisoned. "I won't fight so keg ss rm in Rshway State Prison," he said at the time. But on Tuesday, Scott said he decided to honor bis contracts "regardless of the circumstances." Scott is scheduled to fight Jerry Celestine on Oct 27 and Alvare Yacqui Lopes on Dec, 1 at the prison. Harper To Do Flames Games . Skinny Bobby Harper, an Atlanta disc Jockey, has been hired by the Flames to help Jiggs McDonald broadcast the team's games. Harper, a native of Canada, will replace Boom Boom Geofirioa as the color man on television broadcasts and will also assist on the radio broadcasts of home games.
