After sitting around for a good dozen years while viewing "Gunsmoke" and "The Ed Sullivan Show," a new crop of TV fans came to the fore claiming they never looked at anything but the news, sports, travelogues and the educational channel Then came the kids who re-discovered Fields and the Marx Brothers on the late- late show.
