THE ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, FrIJr, February 4, 1966 X7 jsNorma Bigtree Sparks up an Otlienvise Dull Play the somewhat laborious and tedious musical a delight to watch while she was on stage. -TOM GRAY The new show at the Barn show" it fails miserably Dinner Theatre, an original spite brisk, force energetic performances by a cast of eight talented individuals who symmetrically resplendent and beautiful girls grace its stage. Lisa Paris, a bombastic brunette with a strong set of pipes has a special way with a double entendre; Barbara Wilson is the epitome of the femme fa tale; and Katherine King has a voice that reaches to the top-most rafters. Whic.h brings us back to Norma Bigtree whose Barnum Bailey antics, falling out of sliding across the stage and swinging a string of pearls like nobody's business, made tone voice; Chris Barrett walks through four roles with finesse; and Joe Shea and H. D.

Blitz have their moments. One winning feature of the show, in addition to Miss Bigtree, is the girls. Cj "THE LEATHER BOYS" Begins Where The MODS, ROCKERS And WILD ONES Left Off musical entitled "The Fantas- tic Twenties," won't win any awards, but if a zany, vivacious athletic dancer named Norma Bigtree gets the breaks she'll be a star. This wisp of a girl who jumps about the stage in four-inch heels and abbreviated costumes that would make grandma blush, Is a combination of Martha Raye, Carol Burnett and Shirley MacLaine. She sings, she dances, she clowns, she charms the audience into believing "Twenties" Is the best musical to play the Barn. It's not.

With a plat that reeks of stale bootleg "Twenties" rambles on through innumerable and forgettable songs, stolid dances and lines that sound as if they were written for a third grader.
