Colley, Former Georgia Draft Head, Dies Constitution State News Service WASHINGTON, Archibald Toombs Colley, U.S. Army retired, died unexpectedly Sunday at his home here. A West Point graduate, Col. Colley with the 28th Division in France during World War I. Later he returned to Georgia as head of personnel in the Fourth Corps area.

In 1941 he was appointed head of selective service in Georgia and for several years served as commandant at the University of Georgia. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. K. Brown, Paris, France, and Mrs.

J. B. Reiber, Marietta. Mrs. Ben A.

Bomar DOUGLASVILLE-Mrs. Ben A. Bomar, 74, of Douglasville, died at her home Sunday. Surviving are her husband; daughter, Mrs. Daisy Burnette, Atlanta; sons, Paul B.

Taylor Mrs. D. S. Taylor, 77, died Sunday at her home, 3062 Springdale Hapeville. Born in Douglas County, she was the former Florence Kimbrell.

She had been a resident of Atlanta about 27 years. She was a member of the Hapeville Methodist Church. Twice widowed. Mrs. Taylor had been married to the late D.

S. Taylor and the late John Souter. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Carmichael's Chapel. The Rev.

B. Hancock will officiate. Burial will be in Douglasville. Surviving are seven daughters, Mrs. Clifford Webb, Mrs.

Fred Murphy, 70, of 1515 Darlington Apartments, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Catholic Cathedral of Christ the King, where she was a member. The Rev. Father John Mulroy will officiate. The Rosary will be said at 8 p.m.

Monday at Spring Hill. Mrs. Murphy died unexpectedly Saturday night at her residence. Relatives attributed her death to a heart attack. Born in St.

Louis, Mrs. Murphy had lived in Atlanta about 30 years. She was the former Helen Murphy. She was the wife of Fred Murphy, owner of the Fred M. Murphy candy brokers.

Surviving also are two sons, David and Neil Murphy, Atlanta, and two sisters, Miss Mary Murphy and Mrs. Anne Leykam, St. Louis, Mo. Mrs. Julia Quinn Mrs.

Julia Augusta Lindsey Quinn, 84, of 1416. Sylvan NE, Brookhaven, died Sunday in a private hospital. Born in Alexandria, Mrs. Quinn had lived in Atlanta about 30 years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church.

She was the widow of W. H. Quinn. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alexandria, with burial in St.

Mary's Cemetery there. Surviving are a son, W. H. Quinn Brookhaven, and a daughter, Mrs. L.

T. Snider of Coral Gables, Fla. Parker R. Bomar Parker R. Bomar, 71, of 311 E.

Harden College Park, died Sunday in a Douglasville hospital. Born in Douglas County, Mr. Bomar had lived in the Atlanta area about 40 years. He was a retired painter. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Douglas County.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday. in Chapel. Gaughey will officiate. Burial will be in College Park Cemetery.

Mr. Bomar is survived by his wife, the former Annie Mae Johnson; a son, Raymond P. Bomar, East Point, and a daughter, Mrs. T. W.

Manole Theodoredes Funeral services for Manole Theodoredes, 74, operator of a shoe repair store at 51 Fairley where he lived, will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, where he was a member. A native of Greece, Mr. Theodoredes is survived by two sisters, Mrs.

Ida Zachary Bradberry, 81, of 517 Chapel NW, will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Riverside Chapel. The Rev. J. C.

Daniel will officiate. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery. Mrs. Bradberry died Saturday afternoon in a private hospital. Born in Toccoa, Mrs.

Bradberry was a resident of Buford most of her life. She was the widow of Joseph S. Bradberry. Surviving are two sons, Roy Rogers, Atlanta; H. F.

Miller, Alexandria, and a brother, Henry Zachary, Atlanta. John P. Pennington Funeral services for John P. Pennington, 57, of 1281 Euclid NE, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Tenth Street Methodist Church, where he was a member.

The Rev. Carl McGrady will officiate. Burial will be in Georgia Memorial Park, Cobb County. Mr. Pennington died Saturday night in a local hospital.

Hartsfield, 69, a resident of the Frances Hotel 1 here for seven years, died Sunday morning in a local hospital. Born in Elmira, N. Mrs. Hartsfield was the widow of Kenyon Hartsfield, Atlanta restaurant operator. She had been an Atlanta resident about 30 years.

A member of the Queen Esther Chapter No. 214, OES, Mrs. Hartsfield was corresponding secretary and chaplain of Chapter No. 1, White Shrine, and corresponding secretary and general chairman of the King's Daughters and Sons Good Deed Circle at the First Methodist Church, where she was a member.
