Toe coach said (hat (be success or failure of the team could depend upon three players with injured knees Burch, the other starting flankman Tai Anderson and sophomore center Raymond Holt. "That's my greatest concern right now, Dodd said, 'the condition of those three fellows. If they all make it okay, it would be a great lift to us. If any one of them re-injures the bad knee, it could cripple us as a team." Holt hurt his knee at the tail-end of last season, Burch suffered his injury playing basketball and Anderson was hurt playing touch football at Savannah this summer.

If Holt comes through, DotM plans to twitch center Bobby Caldwell, a 207-pounder from Columbus, to fullback, especially for defensive service at that position. Tech outlined plans Wednesday to platoon at least eight players, one of them the sensational sophomore quarterback Stan Gann. "Gann can play defense," Dodd said, "but we plan to work with him mainly on offense. By the same token we'll use Ben Ferguson strictly on defense at quarterback." Others who'll work only on offense are left halfback Johnny Welch and fullbacks Bea Smith and Don Coker. Those slated for the defensive platoon are left halfback Tommy Wells, right halfback Jimmy Sides, and fullback Jack Moss, switched to that position from the corporation's finances.

It also alleges that the defend ants have sent out letters claiming that "over $100,000" of the gate receipts were unaccounted for when "they knew such statements to be entirely false." The petitioners said they believed the conspirators plan to have themselves appointed to the AIR executive committee if they gain control so they can control the corporation without the approval of the other directors. 5-1652 32.19' i 'J 4340 ROSWELL ROAD BL. 5-C021 THIS WEEK-END ONtY Fifteen stockholders of Atlanta International Raceway asked Fulton Superior Court Wednesday to block attempts of five stockholders to gain control of the corporation through proxy votes. Judge Claude D. Shaw ordered the petition filed. Although a definite time for a hearing on the suit was not set, it is expected to be heard early next week.

The suit also seeks to prevent the five stockholders from cal ling a special stockholders' meeting at which, the petition claims, the defendants are planning to fire the present AIR Board of Directors. The alleged "conspirators" also are intent on firing A. M. Lester, president and general manager of the corporation, the suit claims. It alleges such action would endanger the cor poration's financial structure.

Named defendants in the action are Ralph A. Siano, T. Walker Jackson, Paul Jones, Bert Rob-bins and A. Deermont. Lester is made a party defendant in his capacity as AIR president.

The suit contends the alleged proxies in question were obtained through fraudulent misrepre sentations" about the handling of CRAQCERS Continued From Page 33 tion of knowing that his 230 strikeouts in 208 innings leave him only seven short of tying the 40-year-old league record. Hughes dumped a bloop single a fingertip away from Burright's outstretched glove to begin the Baron half of the inning.
