Sentiment continued bullish, however, and the market closed strong, with September up 1'41V at Influenced by the strength of wheat and by small recelpta and unfavorable weather, the corn market showed considerable strength.

Mr. Catharine Cappel passed away Wednesday at the age of 76 year. Th funeral will take place Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the residence, 31 Brad-ford atreet. The burial will be In Woodland cemetery. The funeral of the late Mis Mary K.

Laughlln. whose sad death filled many heart with sorrow, took place Thursday morning from tha St. Joseph's Catholic church and wa largely attended. Rev. Father yulnn officiated.
