IV TRIP TO WALNL'T GROVE. PrkTctt, July 18, 1RCC. KoiTon or Arizona Miner. On tho 14th of July instant, a party of three of us started for a trip to the abovo locality, and these arc our jotting down by the way and while there. Startinc from hero early in tho morning, jvassiug by th.e Sterling mill, which was in full operation, wo arrived at Joe.

Young's cabin, on fhoHnasayarana. Continuingdown 'that stream, by the Lnipqua lode, (one or tho best veins in tho country,) some three mile, thence to Conier Creek, and down again into the Hasayampa, wo had made below tho tanks on that creek. A very heavy diowcr ol rain here struck us, but sun going on, wo arrived at tho Iioums or Messrs. Hen; rv, White and Rright at two o'clock, distance about twenty-five mile. Tho trail is rather rough, but wo had an excellent leader, and mado the distance in fine spirits.

Willi Fred. Henry and hi partner, who have a good a crop, and which ia a well tended to, as any in tho valley, wo camped over night, and tho next day rodo down the creek. Tho first ranch is that or Mr. Lam-berson, and adjoining-that of Messrs. Richardson A Gage, who have fine prospect.

Mr, lnnberson has a small grist mill, running by unwer. primlint? wheat verv well. The Messrs. McCloud have a ranch just acros the creek here, and also are engaged In placer mining In tfie canon. Crossing the low hill, wo next camo to tho place of Mr.

They, aro seemingly KO-ahcad men, and have a good prespect. Several other men arc with Bird ElUworfh, among whom I noticed Dunn, Hill. and Atllichoufo of l'at, llyrn below we stayed but a moment but found a nice little crop of corn ho and Scottie are nuking.

They seem to bo in thriving condition, and I was glad to sco their com look well. We passed through Carlisle place, and came up to Slcbury'( who ha a large amount of land under cultivation, and also that of Mr. Jackson, whosd propect are very encouraging. Next is Charley Gcnnng. Jack Shank and Pete Smith, with good looking com and warden.

Our next ftonninz place wa that of Saxon and partner whoftd crojM look hcartj, then Stalnbrook, with com an around nun, then btcvenson, wtioc tur-niM were excellent, and finally Harnett Howell. Itinictt ho a good ranch, and a ho is a big hearted fellow, I llOjxJ he and Howell will succeed. We crocl over the their ranch, and returned, this being the end. for here the crcat canon of the IlaMayampa all look finely. I noticed that ther is con siderable many tobacco plant being set out, and, 1 am told, thi plant grow well here.

Tho valley from Henry Co.1 cabin down the creek arc thickly studded with large watnut tree. Tho distance I about eight mile, and all the arable land is clalrried with a portion under cultivation. A great quantity of com and vegetable will bo raised thisycar. had no time to visit the mine in thin locality, but some of them have gained con-(iderable note for their richness, and are, I should think, of eaar access.
