Tech punted out to Auburn's 40-yard mark, and the Tigers took up their task once more, this time to be halted only 10 yards from their goaL The second field try was made from here, and followed the path of its predecessor. The young engineers started their offensive fireworks at this point, driving out, and exchanging punts with the Tigers to hold. the ball in mid-field just after the last frame opened. -Pat Barron was again the big gun.

The Tigers again received the kick-off, 'and again started passing, and nearly tossed their way to another Tech touchdown as Hunsingcr intercepted one of the. passes just before the final whistle blew to end the fray. The national championship of golf club champions is being projected here for the second time, and judging by the number of competitors in the inaugural tournament for the Walter J. The victory broke a string of three consecutive ties between the two teams. These two runs of Chris Cagle's were masterpieces. Early irv. the first period, with the battle in a see-saw stage the Army had the ball on its line. There bad been no sign nf any advantage up to thi point as 0.000 spectators waited for the first break. It came as lightning from a storm- less sky.

Cagle, dropping back, took the ball and started around Yale's right end. Young Ilickok, nephew of Orville Hickok. one of Yale's famous veterans of other years, charged in to meet him but as he moved to the tackle, he was boxed and hurled out of the play, giving Cagle his chance. Cagle now moving at top speed came surging on. passing two of Yale's sec-! ond defensive backs as he swerved for the sidelines.

Just a foot away from out of bounds territory-he sud- denly swerved in towards the field again, literally outrunning two Bine tacklers who at one moment were close on him.
