Fourteen Logansport, Indiana Pharos-Tribune Grand Jury Probes Slayings EVA'NSVILLE, .Ind. (UPD- Jimmy Ray Wilson, 29, an Air Force recruiting sergeant, is lodged in the Evansville City Jail today after being charged with preliminary first-degree murder Tuesday in the slaying of three persons, one of them his estranged wife. . Wilson is being held without bond for a grand jury investigation, probably about June 29 when the jury has been called in connection with another murder. '. Mrs. Wilson had sued for divorce recently. Her brother, David Stocky, 1 told police Burkhead had been a friend of the family for many years and probably would have married his sister "if the divorce had gone through."
