John Roy, Scarborough on the Hudson, N. and Mr. Roy. Mr. Schoonover is a graduate of the university here and is affiliated with Chi Phi fraternity.

The marriage will take place Jan. 28 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy. Miss Douglas is the daughter of the late Theodore Douglas.

Her mother is the former Miss Amy Busby, at one time a famous actress, who played opposite Richard Mansfield and William Gillette. Miss Douglas was graduated from the Scarborough school and atended the Art Students' league of the Traphagea school. Mr. Schoonover is the son of George L. Schoonover, Cedar Rapids, la.
