Confused tale of international intrigue. Trice Right' To One Hour By VAL ADAMS "The Price Is Right" on CBS will expand to an hour, making it the first one-hour daytime game show on network TV. The change is effective Nov. 3, when the series will be presented from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. each weekday with -Bob Barker continuing as host.

In another change, CBS will drop "Musical Chairs," effective Oct. 31, a daytime game show with Adam Wade as host. It began last June. As a tryout early this month, "The Price Is Right" was expanded to an hour for one week. Bud Grant, vice president of programs for CBS, said the show's share-of-audience for the second half hour was larger than the first.

A major on-air shakeup at WMCA will occur in mid-October. Ken Fairchild moves to a new slot, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be replaced on his current early morning show (6 to 10) by Steve Powers, now a newscaster at WHN. WMCA is dropping Joan Hamburg and Leon Lewis.

Sally Jessy -Raphael, an occasional guest host on WMCA, will have her own show from 1 to 3 p.m. A summary right after each round of tonight's Muhammad Ali-Jee Frazier heavyweight championship fight will be broadcast by the Mutual Black Network and WWRL here. The bout is scheduled for 10:35 p.m.. but WWRL will begin a pre-fight program at 9:45. Floyd Patterson will be a commentator.

NBC, which said last Thursday it had no idea what would replace "The MOntefuscos," suddenly pulled the show off the shelves last night. "Grady," a long-pending spinoff from "San-ford and Son," starring Whitman Mayo, begins Thursday, Dec. 4, at 8 p.m. "Cop and, the Kid," starring Charles Durning as a bachelor policeman awarded custody of a black juvenile, will be the replacement for "Fay" at 8:30 p.m. on the same date.

"Harlem: Voices, Faces," the Swedish documentary film postponed by WNET 13 last May because of black, protests, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 9 p.m. Members of the black community will participate in a panel discussion. 11 Movie; "Beau Geste; Guy Stockwell.
