SOME OF THE BIG FEATURES i White City, the new amusement resort at Broad Ripple, will be opened to the public to-morrow afternoon, with speeches by Mayor Bookwalter and other city official and a concert by one of the White City bands. In the evening the parks will be Illuminated for the first time.

The resort will be open every afternoon and evening thereafter. The concert, to-morrow will begin at 2:30 o'clock. The principal attraction during next weak will be dally ascensions by Horace Wild, a noted aeronaut. In his airship, the Eagle. The first ascension will be mad Sunday afternoon, when Wild will attempt to drive his aerial machine from Broad Ripple to Indianapolis and return.

The ship Is already on the grounds and Wild will arrive to-morrow. He has been lb Cincinnati, where a successful eight of nine miles was made last Sunday. A large force of carpenters has been at work day and night In White City, getting the attractions la place and preparing for to-morrow's opening. There are a score or more attractions at the park. Many of them are new and will be operated for the first time to-morrow.

The attractions are clustered about a large artificial lagonn. which is the terminal for the "Shoot the Chutea." The lagoon has cement bottom and sides and contains four feet of water. It surrounded by a wide boardwalk which forms a promenade. AH the attractions may be visited without the visitor leaving this boardwalk. At one end of the lagoon is -a handsome bandstand.

This was- brought from White City, Chicago. At the other end Is an electric tower, surmounted by a large searchlight, one. by the way, that was used at the St. Louis exposition. The lighting of White City is calculated to mnke It particularly attractive.

In addition to the electric tower, with Its huge searchlight, there are 38,000 1b-candescent lights and scores of ate lights. Baby Incubator Feature. One of the novel attractions of White City is a baby Incubator, where Infants suffering from Inanition may be.Jeft to max strohg'and fat under the beneficent care of trained "physicians and nurses, a-lrted by scientific apparatus, which has been approved, it is said. by eminent members of the medical profession.
