OBITUARIES Mrs. Velda McClain; active churchwoman Mrs. Velda B. McClain, 65, of 1630 Upper Bellbrook of H. Ginn McClain died 8:45 a.m.

today at Greene Memorial Hospital. A native of Bowersville born June 19, 1908, she was the daughter of Clinton P. and Dessie B. Taylor Beal. She spent her entire.life in Greene County.

Mrs. McClain was an active member of Second United Presbyterian Church and A1 a Chapter Order of Eastern Star. In addilion to her husband, whom she married June 8,1937, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Cynthia) Snell Jr. of Beavercreek; three sons, Robert B.

of Xenia, Thorn H. of Urbana and John McClain of Cincinnati; two sisters, Mrs. Robert M. (Frances) Downing of Xenia and Mrs. a i (Gladys) Puterbaugh of Markle, Ind and 10 grandchildren.

The Rev. Kenneth Beams will conduct services Friday at 1 am. at Neeld Funeral Home, 106 W. Market SI. where visita- (ion will be 6-0 p.m.
