OBITUARIES Cecil Conklin; retired farmer Cecil Conklin, 75, of Hook Xenia 2, died Sunday morning at Naples Community Hospital, Naples, Fla, A well- farmer here, he had lived at 54 Mango Naples, sin.ce November. Mr. was born near Nesv Jasper March 1, 1898, the son of Clyde and Grace Ireland Conklin, and spent most of his life here. He was a. charter member of the Greene County Planning Commission, serving from 1951 until, illness forced his resignation last year.

He was a member of Greene County Farm Bureau, Greene County Farm CECIL CONKLIN Forum, Jasper i Methodist Church, Xenia Lodge 49, FAM, Xenia Chapter RAM; Wright Council 96, KSM; Nathaniel Greene Com- mandery No. 81, Knights Templar; Aldora Chapler 262, Order of Eastern Star and was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite of Dayton. 'He is survived by his widow, the former Elsie Stingley whom he married in September, 1918; a son, Roger Conklin of Cincinnati and two grandsons, Brian and i Conklin of Cincinnati. Services will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. at Neeld Funeral Home, 106 W.

Randall tomes of the Marine Corps stationed at Camp LeJeune, N. and Richard, Larry and Jeffrey, at home; a half-sister, Mrs.

Marie Eaton of Wheelersburg, and two grandchildren. Visitation will be 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and funeral services at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at McColaugh Funeral Home, N. Detroit St.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wright Patterson AF Base 24 years, he was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Xenia. He was a member of the" Knollwood Church of God. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Michael Hopkins, at home; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Bertha Parsons of Circleville; paternal grandparents, Mr. a Mrs. Oscar Hopkins of Fairborn and Mr.

Born Aug. 8, 1891, in Dunkirk, he was the son of William and Miranda Matlen Routledge. A former resident of Dayton, Mr. Routledge retired in 194S from Frigidaire Division of General Motors Corp, He later operated a gasoline station on US 68S for 13 years. He served with the Army in France during World War I.

Survivors include his widow, the former Ora Helton whom he married in 1950; a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Mary) Hall of Xenia; a stepson, Earl Donahue of Lexington, two sisters, Benjamin Adams Services for Benjamin H. Adams, 81, of Five Points, 0., father of Roy G. Adams of Xenia, will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Porter Funeral Home.

Mt. Sterling. Mr. Adams died Saturday. Visitation will be at the funeral home this afternoon and evening.

Bertha Grant Mrs. Bertha 'Grant, 82, formerly of Dayton, died at 8 this morning in the Christel Manor Nursing Home, Armstrong Fairborn where she had been the last three weeks. She was a sister of Mrs. Jessie Jacks of, Xenia and Kathrine Arman of Quantico, and the mother of Gerald (Charlyn) Campbell of Fairborn. Retired in 1959 from Wright- Patterson AF a Mrs.

William Broivn William W. Brown, 49, of 211 High Fairborn, an 18-year resident of the city, died Saturday morning in Miami Valley Hospital He had been a patient two weeks. An Army veteran, Mr. Brown was a machinist at the Dayton Forging Heat Treating Co. He was born Dec.

5, 1923, in Pike County, to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brown. His moth er is now deceased. Survivors include his widow, Thelma; three daughters, Mrs.
