MacMullen TWIN FALLS Hugh MacMullen, 80, Twin Falls, died Friday morning at Magic Valley Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. Born July 19, 1894, in Sioux Falls. S.D., he served in France during the First World War. He came to Twin Falls in 24 from Montana.

He was employed in the dry goods department of the Idaho Department Store until 1948 when he was named store manager. He continued in that position until his retirement in 1965. Mr. MacMullen had spent the past 10 winters in Yuma, Ariz. He was a life member of the Boise El Korah Temple and the Twin Falls Elks Lodge; a member of the American Legion and Masonic Lodge in Twin Falls, and the Pocatello Consistory Scottish Rite Masons.

Survivors include his wife. the former Ruby Lincoln, Twin Falls; a son. Forrest MacMullen. Las Vegas. a sister in Texas.

and two grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. MacMullen will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday at White Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Robert Van Nest.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may call at the mortuary until noon Monday. The family suggests memorials to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children in Salt lake City. Valley Briefs SHOSHONE Legion Auxiliary will meet at 8 p.m. Monday at the Legion I Hall.

SHOSHONE Opal Rebekah lodge will meet at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the 100F Hall. Roy C. Laker TWIN FALLS Roy Clifford Lakey, 62, Twin Falls, died suddenly Thursday morning while hunting near Grangeville. Mr.

Lakey was born May 24, 1912, at and came to Twin Falls in his early 20s where he engaged in farming. He married Lillian Howland July 10, 1942, at Reno. Nev. They lived in Twin Falls for a time before moving to California where they resided for 24 years before returning to Twin Falls when Mr. Lakey retired last May.

He had been employed at Bethlehem Steel Co. in San Francisco and then worked for the Sequoia Union High School District, San Carlos, Calif. Survivors include his wife. Twin Falls; two daughters, Mrs. Doris (Tanton) Padgett, and Mrs.

Dorothy (Jim) Soult. Richmond, three sisters, Mrs. Paul Haynes, Ava; Mrs. Hoe Sutherland, Springfield, and Mrs. Burruss Padgett, Ozark: three brothers, Delcie Lakey, Ava; Everett Lakey, El Paso, and Norman Lakey.

Noblesville, and six grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Lakey will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at White Mortuary Chapel by Rev. James Hicks.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may call at the mortuary today and Monday and until noon Tuesday. The family suggests memorials to the Heart Fund. S. MeAlister al JEROME Mrs.

Stella Mae McAlister, 81. Jerome, died early Friday at St. Benedict's Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born March 26. 1893.

in Osage, she married Isaac B. McAlister May 30. 1920, in Osage. They lived for a time in Tennessee, returning to Osage where Mr. McAlister died in 1945.

Mrs. McAlister came to Idaho in 1950, living in Jerome since that time. She was a member of Faith Chapel. Assembly of God Church. Jerome.

Survivors are three daughters. Mrs. Mae (Adrian) Scarrow. Mrs. Mable (Truman) Bartlett and Mrs.

Nellie (Fred) Coffman, all Jerome: three sons. Arnold Bateman, Jerome: Coy McAlister. Roseburg. and Roy McAlister, Ft. Smith.

three stepsons, Bruce McAlister, Osage and Herbert and Raymond McAlister, both Memphis, 41 grandchildren. 61 greatgrandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hove Funeral Chapel by Rev. Leslie A.

Christmas plans made by TF club TWIN FALLS Members of the Squilla Club met Thursday at the home of Mrs. Ellis Fuller to make plans for holiday events. Ten members attended the meeting with Thanksgiving decorating ideas or Christmas gift suggestions for roll call answers. Plans were made for donating clothes to the Christian Women United for Christmas. Members agreed to fill a Christmas basket for a local needy family.

Invitations were issued for a baby shower honoring Mrs. Denis Taylor. Mrs. Bob Johnson won the white elephant. Guests included Mrs.

Norman Schnitker, Mrs. Lucian Jones. Mrs. Larry McKay. Mrs.

Jim Leichliter and Mrs. Bob Johnson. The next meeting Dec. 11 will be a Christmas event at the home of Mrs. Rodney Davis.

Obituaries- Selma Erickson ALMO Selma Lillian Erickson, 64, former Almo resident, died Friday evening in an Ogden, Utah, hospital.

Born Nov. 29, 1909, in Ogden, she taught school in Idaho briefly before moving to Chicago, where she was employed by Standard Oil Co. for 30 years. She was a member of the LDS Church and served in several official positions in the University Ward in Chicago. Survivors are two sisters, including Mrs.

Maude (Dale) Udy, Twin Falls; one brother. John Erickson, Rupert, and 17 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Almo LDS Chapel by Bishop William Jones.

and Mrs. John C. Orender, Jerome, died in an auto accident Friday evening in Jerome. Born Aug. 14.

1957, at Jerome, she attended Jerome High School. She is survived in addition to her parents, by her maternal grandfather. Roy L. ThompJerome and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Gladys Anderson, Paragould.

Ark. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hove Funeral Chapel by Rev. John Garrabrandt. Final rites in the Jerome Cemetery.

He served in various other capacities in Korea before transferring to Vietnam in 1973.

Henry Mason JEROME Henry Mason, 64, Fontana, former Jerome resident, died Friday morning at Fontana after a brief illness.

He was born Jan. 3, 1910, in Chilhowee, and had lived in California the past 25 years. He is survived by one brother, Ross Mason, Jerome and two sisters, including Nadine Riddle, Jerome. CASCADE (UPD) A man suspected in the Idaho murders of two men was arraigned here Friday night on two counts of first degree murder.

Thomas Eugene Creech. 24. was also wanted by the FBI in connection with an alleged plot kill Colorado senator-elect Gary Hart, and by Oregon authorities in the deaths of two other men. Creech and Carol Spaulding. 17, Lewiston, were arrested by Glenns Ferry police Friday.

The girl, who was also charged with murder. was arraigned on a juvenile petition. Valley County Sheriff Derold Lynskey said Creech and the girl were arrested in connection with the deaths of Edward Arnold. 34. Grand Junction, and an unidentified man.

Lynskey said Creech. also known as Carl Adams." Dennis. Jr." and Turner." was positively identified Friday through fingerprints. Creech is scheduled to reappear in court here Tuesday at 10 a.m. for continuation of the hearing.

Hart, who defeated two-term incumbent Sen. Peter Dominick. R- in Tuesday's election, was given a police guard after Denver police were told by an informant Creech had come to Denver to kill the senatorelect. While Lynskey declined comment on how the pair were arrested in Glenns Ferry. it is known that officers had been looking for a couple seen near an abandoned car parked at the side of State Highway 55 ahout 22 miles south of Cascade.

The car belonged to Arnold. The bodies of Arnold and the other victim were found in the borrow pit wouth of Cascade. They had been shot and killed with a .22 caliber pistol.
