Crosley Broadcasting always has been one of the leading exponents of color shows and its Dayton outlet, WLW-D. reports it will be telecasting 441i hours of color shows every this season.

WHIO-TV (Channel 7) will have six hours of color each week, thanks to the addition of NBC-TV color shows to its schedule. In addition, the station, if equipment it has had on order since last February arrives by early next year as promised, will be able to telecast local film shows and slides. This means, for example, it will provide, in color, the movies it presents from ils own sludios. In addition, network shows like "Flipper," which are in color but are carried on a delayed basis locally, then will be telecast locally in color. It is pointed out that ABC is beginning to present a little color, such as on its new two-hour Sunday night movie.

CBS-TV, which has done very little with color unless the client requests it, is reported holding off until 25 per cent of the nation's sels are suited to color. WAVI'S NEW FM outlet, WDAO-FM, signed on at 7 p.m. Tuesday on a test basis and if everything goes well hopes to go on the air formally starting Monday.
