The funeral Bervices of Mrs. Annie Krohn, who died at her home in the city Thursday morning at eight o'clock, will be held Saturday morning at tea o'clock and Father Dnly will officiate. There will be a meeting of the candidates nominated before the primaries for county officers in this city Saturday. A county central committee and a chairman of same will be elected. A.

W. and family, old resi dents of Prairie have removed to Kearney and are located on property recently purchased at Avenue and Twenty eighth street. Rev. J. E.

Darby will conduct the services on Sunday at the United Brethren church, both morning and evening, in the absence of Rev. S. M. Zike, who is attending a conference in the eastern part of the state. Miss Mollie Kaiwler underwent an operation for appendicitis, at Holdrege Thursday. 'She had been suffering for more than a year. The doctors report that she stood the operation well and is not in serious condition. The funeral services of Mrs. F.

G. Peterson, who died at her home north of the city Tuesday, was held at two o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Swedish Free Mission church and a large number of friend attended. The house movers were at work Friday jacking up the old Odd Fellows' hall, preparatory to putting the rollers under the same. He stayed in jail all night and Friday morning was brought before Judge Rcilly and the complaint filed by Chief Police Trindle, stating that he was intoxicated, was read to him and he plead guilty to the charge.
