The application, if granted, will permit KBLL to move its antenna to amountain site northeast of Helena and to increase the power so the station can improve the quality of its signal. This will also expand the coverage of the station in Lewis and Clark County and surrounding areas. The proposed increased signal ties.

The expansion also includes a plan to move the station's facilities into the Colonial Hilton. Kerr also announced the appplication for new call letters of KTCM Television, on final approval of the commission for the sale of KBLL Radio to Hotter Broadcasting Company. Kerr said the stronger signal will benefit Helena by providing better communication for the area. Capital City Television is owned by former Gov. Tim Babcock.
