Langevin, 78, a retired truck driver who lived at Alhambra Manor, died at Veterans Administration Hospital Sunday. He was born July 15, 1891 at Mareboro, the son of Charles and Roseann Lamont Langevin. He entered the service July 28, 1917 at Fargo, N.D., and was discharged March 15, 1919 at Camp Gordon, Ga.

He was a wagoneer for a supply company in the Army. Langevin is survived by two sons, Richard and Frank. The White Funeral Home in Butte is in charge. Anacondan Dies At VA Hospital Edward Felix, 83, retired laborer from Anaconda, died Sunday at Veterans Administration Hospital. He was born Sept.

7, 1886 in Belgium, the son of Harry Felix and Clementine Polet Felix. He entered the service June 27, 1918 in Anaconda and was discharged Jan. 30, 1919 at Camp Lewis, Wash. as a private in Company of the 78th Infantry. Felix is survived by a cousin, Pauline Mickelson of Anaconda.

The Parson Funeral Home of Anaconda is in charge. Burial will be in Hill Cemetery in Anaconda. Blood Drawing Is Tuesday "Give Life, Give Blood" is the theme for the local Red Cross chapter's blood drive for Christmas, scheduled from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Bell Room of Mountain Bell. The quota is 220 pints and it is badly needed during the holiday season when thousands of persons are traveling, according to officials for the drive.

Warren Reynolds, senior planner for the City County Planning Department, will speak on Helena's comprehensive park and recreation Master Plan at the South Area Neighborhood Council meeting Tuesday night at 7:30 at Model City Headquarters. Residents are urged to attend. Anna Jarosh, 85, Toston Succumbs TOWNSEND Mrs. John (Anna Voves) Jarosh, 85, of Toston, died today at Broadwater Hospital. She Czechoslovakia was born and June 2, moved 1884 to in Iowa at the age of four with her parents.

She was married to John Jarosh, Nov. 10, 1904 at Cresco, Iowa where they lived until 1916 when they came to Toston. Mrs. Jarosh was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Evan, and a daughter, Mary Sherlock. Surviving are a son, William of Toston and three daughters, Mrs.

Stella Anzik and Mrs. Helen Plummer, both of Toston, and Mrs. Gladys Van Vliet of Butte; a sister, Mrs. Frank baur of Lourdes, Iowa, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. John Koliha of Harmony, 21 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Cross Church. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Rosary will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Martin was married in Minnesota in 1920 to Effie Rickard and she died in 1944. He also was preceded in death by three sisters.

He was employed by the State Highway Department as a traffic counter until his retirement in 1959. Surviving are a daughter, Marian Martin of Warm Springs; two cousins, Naida Berkland and Mildred Bandy of Helena and nephews in California and Minnesota. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Retz Funeral Home with the Rev. H.

DWI Charge Russell J. Wattnem, 15, 440 Rhonda, was arrested by Helena police and charged with driving while intoxicated and curfew violation Saturday. John N. (Dorothea Leavell of 1216 Stuart, home died Sun- day morning at her a long illness. Her age was not released by her request. She was born in Cheyenne Wells, the daughter of Fred Wagener and Emma Rapp Wagner and received her early education in Ellensberg, Wash. She was graduated from Great Business College.

The Leavells were married in Great Falls, March 17, 1930 and he died in October of 1960. They operated the City Plumbing and Heating Co. until his death. She then moved to Missoula where she operated the Estate Realty Co. between 1961 and 1967, when she returned to Helena.

She had lived here since that time. Mrs. Leavell was a member of the Lutheran Church, the Montan Club, a past matron of Josephine Hepner Chapter, OES, a member of Saphhira Temple, Daughters of the Nile and a member of the Nile Patrol and Oriental Band. She was a guardian of Job's Daughters, a past president of the Helena Lioness Club and was active in work for the benefit of St. John's, St.

Peter's and Shodair hospitals. Surviving are a son, Richard H. Leavell of Seattle, a stepson, John M. Leavell of North Olmstead, Ohio, and two grandsons, Kevin and John, both of Seattle. will be at 2 p.m.

John W. Schroeder 59, Dies; Rites Pending Mrs. John W. (Marguerite Schroeder, 59, of 1326 Stuart, died Sunday at home. She was born Dec.

12, 1910 in Helena and attended schools here, graduating from Helena High School. Mrs. Schroeder was employed at Mountain States Telephone Company until she was married to John W. Schroeder in May of 1933 in Helena. She was a member of St.

Peter's Pro-Cathedral, Miriam Chapter No. 1, Order of the Eastern Star, Sapphira Temple No. 79, Daughters of the Nile, Green Meadow Country Club, Inc. Completes Transfer Negotiations The much discussed, 1 but nev-1 er certain, separation of the Montana Club and the Green Meadow Country Club is now a fact. Effective January 1, 1970, the Green Meadow Country Club will be operated and wholly owned by its members under terms and conditions mutually agreed upon by the Green Meadow Club and the Montana Club.

Under terms of the contract, which lawyers for the two clubs are completing, all real and personal property of the golf course will transfer to the new club, now officially Green Meadow Country Club, Inc. The Montana Club Board of Governors has stipulated two items that the new club must attain in order for the transaction to be final. The first is that the new club must assume one-third of the present debt of the Montana Club. The Green Meadow portion is estimated to be about $15,000. The second is that the new club be in receipt of $60,000 from its members by May 1, 1970.

Davy, the citation reads alertly maneuvered his boat out of the kill zone while his crew members delivered a barrage of devastating return fire. Upon finding two crew mates seriously wounded, he immediately radioed for a medical evacuation helicopter and found and secured an area for a landring zone. Davy then administered first aid and assisted in evacuating his injured crewmen. His quick actions while under fire were instrumental in preventing any further damage to his craft or further injuries to his crew. Engineman Davy's citation reads: "His devotion to duty, courage under fire, and outstanding professionalism reflected great credit upon both himself and the U.

Jack Mayala Jack Mayala Quits Model City Post Jack Mayala, Social Services Specialist for the Helena Model City Program, has resigned to become director of a Parent Counseling and Child Development Program in Menomonie, Model City Director Judith H. L. Carlson announced today. Mayala's resignation is effective Dec. 31 and he will take over as director of the Wisconsin program Jan.

5. The position is half time, and Mayala said he will also be studying for a master's degree in guidance counseling or school psychology at Stout State University in Menomonie. In his letter of resignation, Mayala stated, "I have gained a vast amount of experience, especially in city government dynamics from my position here in Helena. I can now feel that the Model City Program is up and running and also feel that you have a good staff to keep it going that way." Mayala has been on the Model City staff since the Helena program began and was the only member of the original staff still with the program. Rites Pending For 2-Year-Old William E.

Hagman twoyear-old son of Mrs. Dolores Hagman of Boulder and William E. Hagman, also of Boulder, died today at Shodair Hospital following a short illness. He was born Sept. 7, 1967, at Butte.

Surviving are three brothers, Michael, Travis and Anthony and two grandmothers, Mrs. Irene Hrstich and Mrs. Carmen Juarez, all of Boulder. Services are pending at Hagler Mortuary. and was active in the Lewis and Clark County Chapter of the American Red Cross, havling just served a term as secretary.

Mrs. Schroeder was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her husband; a son, Edwin Schroeder Jr. of San Diego; a daughter, Mrs. Gerald M.

(Alice) Mills of Portland, two granddaughters, Kim and Kelly Schroeder of San Diego and two grandsons, Ralph and David Mills of Portland. Funeral arrangements are pending at Retz Funeral Home. system. The $30,000 for the water system includes complete replacement of the sprinkling system for the nine-hole course.
