Things, and it is thoughtwill turn out a very valuable Prize. 1 he Day before Captain Richey took the above Ship, he met with a 64 Gun French Man of War, which he took for a large Dutchman, and received her Broadfide, but without any Damage. His Prize was chaced in'Latitude 38, by a but on firing a Gun or two at her, flie made oft. The Old Grace, Chambers, for New Yorjc, was in King road, when Captain Richey came away, which was on the 4th of April, and would iail in two Days after him.

Captain Snead, from London for this Port, was to fail about the Middle of April. By Captain Gibbon, frorfi Antigua, we have Advice, that there were eighteen French Privateers in St. Tohns Harbour when he failed, and about thirty Sail of French Dutchmen That twd French Privateers have been lately and Humiliation, before the Lord.
