Euftatia, laden with Sugars, taken by the Privateer Ship Hero, Captain Philadelphia; and a large Sugar loaded Ship from the Cape, belonging to one of tb.e Northern Colonies, taken by Capt. Benjamin Clifford. January 29. February 21. Captairi Seymour, cf this Pert a Brig loaded with Stores frcn Briftol and a Schooner from Newfoundland, arc taken ani car alfo Captain Hcnihaw. Friday Night laft came to Town from Rfcode Iflmd, the Cca per the Privateer Sloop Bonetta, Captain Spelling, cf this Port, who infrirs ut, That abqut 10 Days before Chriftmas they fell in with a French Privateer, ctmrsanded by cne L'E ftach, of24 Guns, and 120 Men4 whom they engaged for feveral Gfaficsi in which Time Captain Spelling asd his flrft Lieutenant were killed, and the Vtflel really damaged and by ths Bohetta's Topping Left Leing fliofaway, the Boona fell into the Sea, when tc Fienchrnen feized the Opportunity, boarded and took her, witri the Lofs cf two mote cf C.pt.'
