W. McKay Funeral Held The funeral service for Mrs. William McKay, of 79 Bannerman former teacher in East Kil donan school, who died Friday in the Generat hospital, at 87, was held at 4 p.m. today in Old Kil donan Presbyterian church. Burial was in Old Kildonan cemetery.

Rev. P. F. MacSween fficlated, assisted hy Rev. David Johnstone.

The Thomson funeral chapel was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. McKay was born In Aberdeenshire, Scotland, and came to Winnipeg In 1882. Upon arrival here she taught school in East Kildonan school, until her marriage to William McKay, who died in 1925. The couple resided in West Kildonan for several years and later sold their homestead to the city.

Part of the property Is now Kildonan park. Mrs. McKay was a member of the Kildonan Presbyterian church and she was active in the W.M S. and was honorary president of the West Kildonan Ladies' Curling club. She is survived tiy a son, D.

McKay, of West Kildonan; five grandchildren and three great prandchlidren; also a sister. Mrs. Thomas Harkness. of Brandon. Honorary pallbearers at the funeral were John McBeth.
