My-my! What appetites your families have for cookies! Of course, some of these recipes are really "party" mixtures but give your own families a treat once in a' while by serving some of your party dishes for them. The pineapple squares are especially good. and, as a matter of fact, can be varied by using strawberry or raspberry jam in place of the well drained pineapple, to spread on top of the pastry-like dough, under the coconut topping. Or you might like some of your special conserves used this way--the apricot mixture, the Heavenly marmalade, perhaps the ginger pear Then DIVIDE IN HALF.

Add the beaten eggs, alternately with the dry ingredients, to the butter mixture, blending in thoroughly. Mix only long enough to blend well. Press this dough into greased shallow cake pan. a No. 2 can of ed pineapple thoroughly, save juice for another purpose (dessert.

beverage, etc.) The pineapple must be well drained. Spread on top of pastry the pan. To the remaining half of the beaten eggs, add one cup of fine granulated sugar, two cups of shredded coconut, and one tablespoon of butter, blending in thoroughly. Spread on top of pineapple. Bake whole in a moderate for about 25 minutes, and to serve, cut into squares.

Note: Time for baking depends upon depth of pan--a very shallow pan requiring about 20 minutes, a deep square pan perhaps 30 minutes. Dream Cakes 1 cup of sifted flour cup of butter. Sift flour, measure, then cut in shortening or lard) a pastry (or half butter, and half blender or two knives until mixture is fine and mealy. Pack firmly into a greased shallow cake pan. Be sure to 'press firmly, right to corners, and evenly on surface.

Bake this mixture in a moderately slow oven for about eight minutes, then remove and add the following: 2 eggs. 1 cup of brown sugar. 2 tablespoons of flour. 1 teaspoon of baking powder. Few grains of salt.

Beat eggs until light, and add sugar gradually, in well. Sift and powder blending, together, and add to mixture, blending thoroughly. Add all ingredients, blend well, then spread evenly on top of partially baked pastry. Bake in moderate oven-350 degrees -for about 20 minutes. Cut into squares or finger lengths for serving.

M. Smith, uncle of the bride, was at the organ and during the signing of the register Mrs. E. T. Etsell sang Grieg's I Love Thee.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a dress of heartsease blue satin with redingote fashioned of matching net. The satin appliqued bodice had puffed sleeves banded with the satin. The high neck had a Peter Pan collar. She wore Token roses in her hair, matching the flowers of her bouquet which was orchid centred.

She was attended by her cousin. Miss Nancy Smith, who wore blush pink taffeta fashioned on redingote lines with a high collarless neck and puffed sleeves. She wore Talisman roses in her hair and carried the same flowers. Mr. Harry Foures was best man and the ushers were Messrs.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a frock of wineberry with pleated skirt. The V-shaped bodice had a collar and cuffs of white silk. Her small hat of wineberry felt was draped with a veil. She had tea roses as corsage. Miss Evelyn Summach, the bridegroom's sister, attended the bride.

She was in a black crepe gown with a low neckline and short puffed sleeves. A black selftrimmed hat and a corsage of tea roses completed her ensemble. Mr. William R. Lee, Seven Sisters Falls, brother of the bride, was best man.

A small reception for the immediate families was held at the home of the bride's parents. Aircraftsman and Mrs. Summach left for Moose Jaw, where they will live. For going away, the bride wore a black frock, the wide belt adorned with a scroll design of greenstitched thread. The same design was repeated on the three-quarter length sleeves.

Messrs. Paul Long and Alfred Heinicke were ushers. The bride's princess gown was white French crepe with a pleated cascade falling panel -wise to the floor. The pleated crossed bodice had a V-neckline and short shirred sleeves. The wide belt was jeweled with gold sequins.

Miss Courtnall chose a basque gown of turquoise blue with fullness at the back of the skirt.

The shirred bodice, which had a sweetheart neckline, was worn with a waist-length bolero. She wore a doll of matching flowers with a chapel veil at the back. Her bouquet was of Butterfly roses and mauve pompons. A reception was held in the Marlborough hotel. Mr.

and Mrs. Gallop left for short trip. For going away, the bride wore a brown princess frock. of treebark crepe with a gored skirt, bell sleeves and a high neckline. 'She wore a fingertip length box coat of brown lapin with a brown velour veiled hat.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a dress of deep forest green with a draped hipline. Her corsage was of Talis- man roses. Miss Helen Dobson played wedding march. A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents.

For traveling the bride wore a tailored dress of mist blue wool with inverted pleats falling from a simulated low waistline. She wore a black felt hat and a black coat made on swagger lines. Mr. and Mrs. Osborne left by plane for Montreal.

She wore her maternal grandmother's wedding veil of fine Brussels lace, showing a raised embroidery of tiny flowers, the same embroidery forming a border on either side. It was arranged in a shirred halo. She carried a Colonial bouquet of gardenias, white pompon chrysanthemums and bouvardia. She was attended by her sister, Mrs.

A. T. Parkes, as matron-ofhonor, and by Miss Norma Jane Verner as bridesmaid. They were gowned alike, in corded taffeta, Mrs. Parkes in como rose and Miss Verner in dulce blue.

The basque bodices had sweetheart necklines finished on either side with true lovers' knots of velvet. The sleeves were short and puffed. Stiffened cording at intervals around the skirt accentuated their bouffant styling. They wore Victorian disc headdresses of matching taffeta trimmed with Monsignor red velvet loops, the velvet also formed the head band. Their Colonial bouquets of Johanna Hill roses and white baby chrysanthemums.

Mr Herbert R. Adams was best man. The ushers were. Mr. Regina ald Halliley, brother of the bride, and Lieutenant L.
