Anita Morris, nominated as best featured actress for her role in the musical, told her tale of woe Tuesday after learning that the Standards and Practices Committee at CBS found her on-stage undulations a problem. (AP) Aileen Quinn,the 10-year-old freckle-faced star of the movie "Annie," is expected to remain hospitalized for several days after suffering a Jsroken elbow in a weekend bicycle accident. Aileen was selected from 8,000 girls who. auditioned for the movie's title role. Aileen's family lives in Lower Makefield, Pa , near the Mercer Hospital. Police in Lower. Stoessel Jr. has warned that it would be "a great misfortune for both sides" if the United States and China cannot settle their differences over arms sales to Taiwan. He made the statement Tuesday in a speech to the National Council for U.S.-China trade a nonprofit organization of U.S. firms regarding the sale of $60 million in aircraft spare parts to Taiwan as part of a long-standing supply arrangement with the government in Taipei. The administration has approved the sale and China is opposed to U.S. arms transactions with Taiwan's Nationalist Chinese government. Figure salon files bankruptcy NASHVILLE (AP) Kelly Lyn Figure Salons have filed for bankruptcy under Chapter II which will permit the franchises to remain open while owners work out a debt payment plan, an attorney says. , C. Kinian Cosner, a Nashville attorney, said Tuesday that the company intends to reorganize and remain in business. Cosner filed Chapter 11 petitions on Saturday for Kelly Lyn Franchise company, Kelly Lyn Management Co., and 16 spa subsidiaries. - Cosner conceded, however, that the company will have to trim its operation to pay about $600,000 in unsecured debts and $90,000 in secured debts . Bondurant, head of the Secret Service's Knoxville office, said Tuesday that Kevin E. Jones, 23, and Evan S. Lipford, 25, of Lenoir, N.C., were arrested on the 72-acre fair site Monday after the bills had been passed during a two-hour period. '' About $1,500 in fake money was found on the men or at various locations on the fair site, Bondurant said.
