QUINTON George Godfrey Quinton, who was born at Drogheda, Ireland, 94 years ago on May 13, 1848, died Friday at the residence his daughter, Mrs.

F. Carroll, of 634 Warsaw ave. He was the husband of Annie M. Quinton. Mr.

Quinton came to Canada in 1852 and had lived in Manitoba 25 years. He was a sheet metal worker. The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the Thomson funeral with burial in St. James cemetery, Canon G.

R. Calvert will officiate. LOIS ANNA LOUCKS Lois Anna Loucks, 16, daughter of Melbourne Loucks and the late Mrs. Loucks, died Friday in the Children's hospital. She resided at 704 Home st.

S. Booth, Winnipeg, assistant deputy adjutant-general at Canadian military headquarters in Great Britain, returned to Winnipeg Friday. Col. Booth left Winnipeg for overseas in June, 1940. Before leaving he had been in command of the Winnipeg Light Infantry since 1936.

On Friday he was guest of honor at a luncheon at the St. Charles hotel tendered by the Western Canada Military institute. Fraser. There previously been no assistant supervisor. Attends Mother's Funeral In lowa Mrs. Frank T. Nilan, of Oakland, Iowa, mother of Frank Nilan, manager of Nilan's Battery Service, Winnipeg, was struck and instantly killed by a truck while crossing in front of her home Monday.

Mr. Nilan attended the funeral service which was held Thursday, at Oakland. Mrs. Nilan was 87. Besides her son in Winnipeg, she is survived by another son, Wilbert, in Iowa, and la daughter.

Girls' curling is held every Saturday at 4.30 p.m. at the CivicCaledonian rink.
