Just as an engine needs filling, fuel to yield steam for power, repairs and replacing the worn out parts, and generally little attentions to keep It In the best of condition, so does the human machine need the same attentions. Certain of our foodstuffs supply the "fuel," other foods the material for repairing and replacing; some of the foods acts as a lubricant, others supply the necessary small amounts of certain necessities (various minerals and vitamins) that attend to ths smaller but moat important Individual details.

Frlendllnese Toward Food Ths attitude or the Individual toward food is a consideration not thought of by many, but it is an Important one. So many of us look upon food as a necessity, without Interest and with innumerable prejudices. Digestion The state of your digestion depends a good deal upon whether or not you ar relaxed sufficiently, and the speed at which you eat your meals.

It stands to reason that "bolted" food will cause troubls ati ths present or some time in the futuie. Also, worry and nervousness Interfere somewhat with the digestive processes, whereas. If one is relaxed and "peaceful," digestion goes on smoothly and quietly without Interference. Good health Is the finest Investment the Individual could make, and. though much depends upon his or her "start" In life and the parents' wisdom, each Individual must carry on throughout a lifetime, cherishing this jewel among pos sessions.
