Fourteen Logansport, Indiana Pharos-Tribune Groundbreaking For Church Set Rev, G. Chester Morgan, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene, has announced that groundbreaking ceremonies for the new REVEAL ASCS WHEAT CROP FILING DATE The deadline for filing applications for new wheat allotments has been set for July 1, according to Dean Beck, manager of the Cass county Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service office. The filing period began late last month. Farmers must file applications if they want to grow wheat but do not already have any wheat acreage. Those desiring to file applications may do so at the .county ASCS office located at 210 Sixth Street. Carroll County Resident Begins Reformatory Term DELPHI—Lee Tracy Davis, 21, of rural route 2, Delphi, who was found guilty of second degree burglary in Howard Circuit Court, has been committed to the Indiana Reformatory for disobeying probationary restrictions. Davis, who is to serve a two- to-five year term, also was disfranchised for two years and fined $50. He was found guilty of burglary in connection with numerous breakins at schools, restaurants and service stations in six counties. He was placed on probation April 18. Morgan stated that erection of the new building will start early in July. Cost of the p gram is estimated at $70,000, and it is'believed it will be-ready for occupancy in approximately two months. The building, 42x84, will be constructed of concrete block with a Bedford limestone veneer, tile flooring and laminated beams. It will have a seating capacity of 250 persons, and the entrance will be on Lynas street. The full basement will be divided into two departments for -Sunday school classes. Site of the present church is at 841 Sherman. This building- was erected in 1888 by the United Brethren church and has been occupied locally by the Church of the Nazarene since August, 1936. In October, 1958, the congregation bought the land on which the new church- will be built. On February 18 of this year the members voted- to accept building plans. This site runs 165 feet facing Clinton and 345 feet along Lynas. There will be ample space for off-street parking. District superintendent Reverend A. C.
