Says Peters, who had hoped to be onstage with the musical by the fall, "It looks like it's going ahead this time. We're starting to cast my co-star now I hope it will be someone delicious." The singerdancerTony-winning actress expects to start "Annie" rehearsals in October, and will take the show on a two-city tryout run before bringing it to Broadway.
