(Upsilon Photo) Upsilon Chapter Receives New Members a a associate minister of the Bayard Spanish-speaking congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 309 Hurley Bayard, has just returned from attending an organizational i in El Paso, Texas in connection i their circuit assembly. The ministers meeting was attended by 38 presiding and assistant ministers from El Paso and various cities in New Mexico. Presiding over the meeting was convention manager, Juan Ayala of El Paso, Texas. Hernandez said plans were discussed for the two- day assembly of Jehovah's Witnesses to be held in El Paso's i Hall, December 10 and 11.

He said the assembly will be attended by more than 1400 a i their St. Dec. 12 to Dec. 16 Upsilon Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met in the home of Mrs. Richard Sarkela, where two new members, Mrs.

Mike Redwine and Mrs. Bart Hicks, took their pledge rituals. The i a of Jewels degree was given to i members, Mrs. Jim Blair, Mrs. David DeBusk, Mrs.

Gerry Engel, Mrs. Homer a a Wichers. A business session led by President Shirley Stevens centered around plans for the Thanksgiving social and the upcoming annual bazaar. Members voted to i other a i donating to the Big Ditch Fund. A baby shower was given to honor a i DeBusk and son.

A reception was held following the meeting honoring the seven receiving the rituals and refreshments were served by Mrs. Sarkela and co- hostess Donna Theis.
