UBi V "With graduation and gifts, too, it seems like Christmas," states Mary Jane Lebo as she shows her new luggage to Paul Beck. * • Mary Jane is the daughter ot Mr. and Mrs. Francis Lebo, of 615 Thirteenth street, and he is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Beck, of 1711E. Broadway. ' Although school days have left (he minds of some graduates, they haven't for Nancy Miller and Carolyn Hopper who are making plans for campus life. Nancy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William P. Miller, of 2424 Stadium drive, and Carolyn's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Harry. W, Hopper, of 2129 George street. Dave Steinhilber and Sharon Brown compare lett ers they both received from Purdue University, requesting application for a honor math course. Sharon is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd W, Brown, of 437 Day street, and Davei's parents are Mr. and Mrs. William J. Steinhilber 4 of 2G01 High street. They're The Tops u i/ The ten top students scholaslically of the 1962 class of the local high school have made varied plans for the summer, but all ten are looking forward to campus life this fall. These students, according to the rank' of the class, are listed with the schools they plan to attend and their majors as follows: Mary Jane Lebo. Purdue University, mathematics; Jack Gray. Indiana University, government and pre-law; Ann Lyon, Butler University, secondary education; Nancy Miller,. Indiana State, elementary education; Dave Steinhilber, Purdue University, industrial management; Sue Hodge, Butler University, physcology; Paul Beck, Indiana University, government; Carolyn Hopper, Indiana State, secondary education; Bob Justice, Harvard University, liberal arts; and Sharon'Brown,.Purdue University, pre-medical technology. Some of these graduates have made definite plans for the summer. Bob Justice will leave in July for studies at Harvard University while Mary Jane Lebo will be employed with Memorial hospital'and Jack Gray will continue his work in radio. Dave Steinhilber will be employed with Automotive Service and Sue Hodge will assist with the 'summer recreation program. "How ,do I look? This is my first experience wearing a cap," remarks Ann Lyon as she tried on her graduation cap for Jack Gray before graduation. Ann is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Urven Lyon, of 1627 North street, and Jack's parents are Mr. and Mrs. John F. Gray, of 924 Linden avenue. "This is not a time for laughing," protests Bob Justice to Sue Hodge as he practices Iris address prior to commencement exercises. ' Mr. and Mrs. Hoy Gordon, of 1417 E.
