Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lewandowski have returned from Wikes Barre, Penn. where they ed by the death of Mi ski's mother. State Trooper George Samu, has been stationed with the WMM unit of the Michigan State Police for the past 16 months, will report to Bay City, Mich, on June 1, where he has been transferred to serve with the Bay City unit.

Trooper Samu arrived in Wakefield in January 1949 to serve his probationary period after receiving his preliminary training at the State Police school in East Lansing. He will be replaced by Trooper Carl Stromer of the Bay City post. Kent is the former Aurora Sanchez. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Kent have returned to Detroit after attending the funeral of Marshall Kent. They were former Wakefield residents.
