Dolores Champagne has made Christmas wreaths and topiary trees out of cones, weeds and other materials. She has also painted miniature oils of mushrooms. Friday will be the last day of the Fair. Thursday V.UUMNO IS FUN By CECILY BROWNSTONE AP Food Editor Roast Lamb with Potatoes Green Peas Mint Jelly Vanilla Ice Cream Beverage VANILLA ICE CREAM A basic recipe. 1 cups sugar 4 tablespoons cornstarch 1 teaspoon salt quarts milk 2-3 cup light corn syrup 4 eggs slightly beaten 2 cups light cream 4 teaspoons vanilla In a large double-boiler top stir together the sugar, cornstarch and salt; stir in milk, corn syrup and eggs.

Cook over boiling water, stirring constantly, until slightly about 10 minutes. Chill. Stir in cream and vanilla. Freeze in 4- quart ice-cream freezer following manufacturer's directions. Makes about 4 quarts.

MRS. VOLLICK Miss Marchand Is Bride Carolyn Mary Marchand and Merle C. Vollick exchanged their marriage vows in an afternoon ceremony Nov. 25 at Nativity Church. The Rev.

The bridegroom is the grandson of Mrs. William H. Vollick. The bridal gown of white organza had a sheer yoke. Alencon lace on the bodice, the front of the skirt and the chapel train was threaded with satin ribbon.

Small bows accented the Victorian neckline and the Gibson Girl sleeves. The veil of English silk illusion was secured by a lace face-framer with, pearls. The bride's flowers were a cascade arrangement of red and cream sweetheart rosebuds with gypsophila and ivy. Mrs. Marjorie A.

Their chiffon gowns had shirred front bodices and cuffs. Cotton braid flower trim accented the empire waistlines. Their headpieces matching double bows of chiffon with tulle veiling. Their nosegays of miniature carnations and pompons with rosebud centers and tea leaves matched their gowns. The flower girl carried a basket of the same flowers.

Robert L. Marchand, the bride's brother, was best man. William Thompson and Brent 11 a were groomsmen. Ushers were Carl Blixt and Hal Woodgate. At the reception In the Izaak Walton Clubhouse, Mrs.

Marchand 'greeted guests wearing a knit dress in poppy orange. Her corsage of pixie rosebuds was in shades of pale green and white. Mrs. Vollick's two-piece suit was navy and white and she had a corsage of red and white pixie rosebuds. After a honeymoon in Lower Michigan the newlyweds will be making their home at 914 John St.

A Christmas program will be presented after dinner and then the Barracks and Auxiliary will have separate meetings. Auxiliary members will exchange gifts. A membership drive is now in progress. Volunteers for the arrangements from the Barracks are Ed Tromblay, Louis Menard, Frank Miller, Frank Poppe, Frank Laundy, Asa Brabant, Lewis Hansen, Art Stanaway and Oral LaCombe. OES Memorial Service To Honor Three Eastern Star Queen of the North Chapter 82 will have a memorial service Wednesday night preceding the regular business session and Christmas program.
