I Ir. inen Willing to Have Test of Skill. One of the advantages of the State Firemen's Association was clearly brought out by some of the firemen who went to Pittsburg at the la annual meeting. It seems that some of the iiremtn of this city visited every fire engine house, of Pittsburg and Allegheny, and compared notes, and In some ins ances went with the firemen io fires that occurred during their stay in the Srr oky City. Ore ol the delegates declared that there is not a company in Harrisburg that couid not hook up ready for a fir? in one third less time than the most active company of Pittsburg or Allegheny.

They report that the firemen of those cities are cared for in the best possible manner. At one of the engine houses it was noted that after a men can throw their a for them. th.
