I remain your little friend Caroline Wiley 1334 Penn St. Harrisburg Fa "tactorv Fie neater AMUSEMENTS LYCEUM THEATER, IOCUST STREET When Knighthood Was in Flower. This evening Rogers Bros, in London Dec, 17th When Knighthood Wag In Flower This evening brings the beautiful romantic drama "When Knighthood Was in Flower" to the Lyceum with Miss Roselle Knott in the leading role. This dramatization of Charles Major's popular novel is meeting with more favor than any play adapted from a book. The management bring the original production to this city, the sa.me as used by Miss Marlowe during her metropolitan engagement.

Miss Knott will be found a young actress of rare talent, combining beauty of face and figure, with a fascinating presence and a beautiful voice that soothes with softness of thrills with passionate utterances. With these attributes one might easily imagine Clias. Major's willful heroine to have stepped from the pages of his romance into the actual ism of the stage. In Miss Knott's per formance of "Mary Tudor" there is no question of her personal triumph. She brings out the pathetic side as well as the comedy vein of the character in such a manner that she commands the admiration of all who witness her truly wonderful portrayal of the hoydenish Princess.

Her supporting company is particularly capable having been carefully selected by the management for their ability and merit. Rogers Bros, in Loudon "The Rogers' Brothers in London," which comes to the Lyceum Theater on Thursday evening, does not confine itself to the English metropolis either with regard to its scenic products or the popularity of its stars on a thoroughfare like the strand. Reports of this play which attained an immense success in New York and other cities, say it is not only a spectacular marvel but has more varied comedy in music and stage business than anything the season has offered. The cast is exceptionally strong. Such names as Joseph Coyne, Lee Harrison, Melville Ellis, George Aus "The Ship of bring you glb.d tidings.
