a City, la, May 23, 1957 College Offerings Varied in Summer Classes Drake University, Des lalf dozen rubber soles. The car vas parked in the City ot at W. State and Adams. and lowu State Teachers College, Cedar Falls, will offer summer courses in Mason City Junior College this summer. Drake University will offer two thrcc-semeator-hour courses, one June 10-28 and the other July 119.

The courses are a workshop in "Tests and Measurements" and the "Plants of Iowa." Iowa State Teachers College will offer two two-semcslcr-lunir courses, one from June 10-21, the other from June 24-July 5. The courses are "Parent Education' and "Mental Hygiene." The Drake University and Francisco and, from Dr. Delmar Olson and Family Going to Philippines Dr. Dolmar W. Olson and family, of Uaveriha, Ohio, arc visiting at the home of his Mrs.

Duck Thinks He is Human in Cincinnati CINCINNATi 1 '(UP)--Mr. Peepers is as pampered a duck A $20,000 damage claim in the death of 10-year-old Larry Dean Ritter of Clear Lake last fall has been filed'in District Court. The boy died of injuries received 'when his bicycle collided with a dog, throwing the bike and rider against the side of a truck. Larry W.

Ritter, administrator of the boy's estate and the hoy's father, filed the suit for the estate against the "Andrews Concrete Products and Supply Co. of Mason City and Clair Johnsen. Johnsen was- driving the.truck involved in the accident for the Andrews irm. The accident. occurred about Mz miles west of Mason City Oct.

1956, on Highway 18. Johnsen lad been driving west. The Ritter boy and a companion on another bicycle were riding east on south half of the highway. The large dog, unidentified as to owner, ran between the bicycles, according to the petition. J.

Lynch, Retired Farmer, Dies Cornelius J. Lynch, 70, retired farmer of the Tipton area, diec Wednesday at a Mason City hospital. He had been making his home with his son, Cornelius Lynch 132 2nd S.W., since January. Mr. Lynch was born Nov.

11, 1886, at Cedar Valley, son of Michael and Kate (Tucker) Lynch, was married to Miss "Helen Cunniff in June, 1921, at Tipton. The family farmed near. Tipton many years and later Mr. Lynch farmed with a son near Osage. his son, Cornelius, in Mason City, are another son, Ed Lynch, Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Mike (Patricia) The Ritter estate is claiming that Johnsen was negligent in fail ing to see the potential acciden situation ahead of him and taking precautions to avoid the accident Mrs.

He is on leave from Kent State University, in Ohio, where ho is a professor of industrial arts. Ben Burma's Case Rested Attorneys for Ben Burma, Rochester, rested his case Thursday morning in the trial of the $300,000 injury suit brought by him against the Iowa Electric Light and Power Co. of Cedar Rapids. Witnesses' for the power company were expected to begun giv ing testimony later Thursday.

Wednesday afternoon" Burma's wife testified at some length regarding the care he now requires. He was disabled, he says, after suffering a broken back in a fall from a grain bin at Olaf, Jan. 6, 1956. Burma claims he received a shock from a power line maintained by the company above the bin. The shock caused his claims.
