Erby Nixon, principal of Parker school and Mr. Bob Gates, Consultant Education of Ac- ceptional Children, from the State Try This Menu BY CECILY BROVVNSTONE Lenten Luncheon Cream of Tomato Soup Toasted Egg and Chili Sandwiches Fruit Beverage Sandwiches Toasted Egg and Chill Ingredients: 4 hard-cooked eggs, 4 teaspoons mayonnaise-type salad dressing, 1 teaspoon prepared mustard, 1 teaspoon cider vinegar, salt and freshly-gound pepper, 8 slices bread, 2 to 4 whole canned roasted and peeled chilies, butter or margarine. Method: Mash eggs fine and mix salad dressing, mustard, vine- and salt and pepper to taste. Spread egg mixture on 4 of the bread slices; remove any seeds from chilies and arrange a half or a whole chili over egg; top with remaining bread i Spread top of sandwiches with softened butter or margarine and toast under brioler until lightly browned; turn, spread other sides with butter or margarine and under broiler until lightly through. Cut sandwiches in half and serve at once.

Mrs. Berma Carter, class president, presided during the business session. A social hour followed with refreshments of salad, cookies and hot chocolate served by Mrs. Warren to the eight members present. PARTY POSTPONED The Lynn Haven Woman's Club Valentine Party which was scheduled for Saturday, February 10, has been postponed until a later date, due to weather conditions.

Ruth Swann Circle Has First Meeting With Mrs. McNeil The newly organized Business Circle of the Woman's Missionary Union of First Baptist Church, met Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the home of Mrs. L. O.

McNeil, Old Orchard, for their regular business and social meeting. The meeting was opened by singing the W.M.U. hymn for the year, "Jesus Calls followed with prayer by Mrs. W. O.

Byrd. Mrs. Ruth Stephens, Circle chairman, presided. She introduced Miss Nellie Park, enlistment secretary of the church, who gave a very inspiring devotional on "God Has Chosen and told of the life of Miss Ruth Swann, who recently went to Arabia as a medical Missionary and of the sacrifices she has made in order to complete her education and thereby be prepared to do her life's work. A dialogue on the "Plan of Salvation" was presented by Mrs.

Robert Lawerence and Mrs. D. B. James. During the business session it was decided to name the circle the "Ruth Swann Business It was also decided to give a monthly contribution to the American Bible Society.

The next meeting will be February 19, at the Church, when all three Business Women's Circles will meet for the Inspirational Program. M. U. Has Program Meeting The Woman's Misisonary Union of St. Andrew Baptist church held their monthly program and business meeting Monday afternoon at the church. Mrs.

W. E. Shoupe, president, presided. Program topic for the afternoon was "God Is Moving--Who Can Hinder?" This meeting was held off schedule, therefore, the next meeting will be held February 26. Young Adult Class To Sponsor Potluck Supper A potluck supper has been scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

Thursday at the Lynn Haven Methodist Church and will be sponsored by the Young Adult Class. A free will offering wiH be taken for the stove and refrigerator fund. That's the agency which handles most of the priorities and allocations. But the Gohaths of industry who hold most of the other top jobs in the defense set-up look upon him as a formidable young David, wel- able to swing his weight on the team.

He was highly recommended to the man who appointed him. Secretary of Commerce Sawyer, by the Business Advisory Council of the Department of Commerce. On the council are such leaders in the mobilization effort as Wilson, Harrison, Wemberg, Clay and Chung, Fleischmann is a 42-year-old Buffalo lawyer, a good looking chap, with dark eyes and black curly hair, cut short. He has a relaxed, quiet manner, smiles easily and enjoys people. In his home' city he has an admirable reputation as senior member of a prominent law firm and as a public spirited citizen.

Greatly interested in international problems, he founded the Buffalo Council on World Affairs and is president of it. HIS WAR RECORD He was born Hamburg, N.Y., and is a graduate of Harvard and I the University of Buffalo Law School. He practiced law until 1941, when he went to Washington as assistant general counsel of the War Production Board and its predecessor agencies. His boss, the WFB general counsel, John Lord O'Brien, a lawyer who has long had great prestige in administration circles, is another one of his sponsors. Fleischmann left WPB in 1943 to take a commission in the Navy.

There he was assigned to the Office of Strategic Services.
