The Victory Garden is produced by WGBH Boston and is funded by W.R. Grace makers of Peters Professional Plant Food for all home gardening needs, both indoors and out, and by public television stations. In Southern California, The Victory Garden is seen on both KOCE (Channel 50) and KCET (Channel 28). The new Victory Garden Pozzi opens factory outlet, remodel center Pozzi Wood Window considered one of the largest manufacturers of wood windows and doors on the West Coast is celebrating the opening of its newest location, the Pozzi Window Co.

West segments are a joint project of Roger's Gardens, WGBH and Sunset Magazine and premiered last weekend on many public TV stations. (Check local television schedules for show times.) Roger's Gardens features 7.5 acres of nursery, landscape and botanical displays. Victory Garden West segments will be hosted by Kathleen Brenzel, garden editor of Sunset. Brenzel joins series host Bob Thomson and Victory Garden South host James Wilson as part of The Victory Garden's expanded horticultural team. "Bringing our California friends into The Victory Garden fold broadens the show's horizons considerably," says series host Thomson.

"Adding Victory Gardenii South and West allows fo an entire new dimension ve can show viewers plants, shrubs and trees they're not used to seeing in their own areas. We're really setting a precedent as a gardening series with a national scope." The Victory Garden West will be designed to explore many of the problems encountered by gardeners with little available space and crowded, fast -paced lives. Brenzel will demonstrate low -maintenance, high-yield gardening techniques and introduce many of the region's indigenous crop varieties.
