State Board Snubs Boyle TextbookBills SAN FRANCISCO W--The State Board of Education has decided against endorsing any of the three state textbook bills introduced by Assemblyman Donald Doyle (R- Lafayette). One of the measures would re- quuire the board to designate five basic texts for each subject and designate one as a primary text. The department now adopts one text for each subject and the book is printed by the State Printing Office and distributed free to the schools. The board previously had voted to survey the textbook situation. The board, meeting here yesterday, took no sides in the fight over whether the new Alameda County State College is to be located in Alameda or in the Hayward area.

But it put the college No. 1 in the list of new state colleges to be built in Northern California. igar Back in Jail SAN FRANCISCO W--Mae Rodley Wagar, who went free after testifying against her mother in an abortion trial last fall, is back in jail on other abortion charges. Mrs. Wagar's mother, Alta Anderson, was sent to prison from San Mateo County last fall after her daughter turned state's evidence.

Lt. Al Nelder said Mrs. Wagar, 40, has offered to testify against the woman with whom she was a yesterday, Musette Briggs. Briggs has served two terms on previous abortion charges. Mrs.

Wagar. along with her mother, served a term in 1948 for abortion. Mrs. Wagar, of Colma, and Mrs. Briggs, 49, of Los Angeles, were arrested in San Francisco's Sunset District.

Lt. questioned both women about the death in Corning of George Sivils, a Redding chiropractor who was free on $15,000 bail in an abortion case when he died. Sivils was found dead, a possible suicide, last Wednesday. Nelder said Mrs. Wagar was the "contact" for Sivils in the San Francisco area.

Matean Held in S.F. Stick-Up San Francisco police today held a Paul Stroud, 40, who gave'his address as 19 East Forty-first avenue, San Mateo, for investigation of robbery of a San Francisco tavern. San Francisco Police Inspector Charles Sutton said had been "positively identified" as the man who entered a Geary street bar, simulated a gun in his coat pocket and made off with $69 in bills. Stroud, who said he was a milk company salesirfan, was nabbed when he tried to get into a cab parked near the tavern and the driver him "What are you doing with that money." Stroud fled and the taxi driver radioed the dispatcher who in turn called NOTICES Jlrici L. Ruselllni, NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION.

Emergency repairs to resume pumping 11 million tons of Iraqi oil a year across Syria to Europe could be finished within one week, the spokesman said.
