The excitement of this semester came to an end when Burlingame defeated San Mateo on Thanksgiving day. But despite the Burlingame-San Mateo game and despite last week's final exams, student activities have fallen into a new calm.

Senior Work Day Last week members the senior class scoured the neighborhoods between Ray Park and San Mateo for jobs on senior work day, last Saturday. The seniors are trying to raise money through various projects to aid in the financing of grad night and the senior bail. They hope to cut the costs of the two events in half by raising the money. The senior ball will be held on May 3 at the Villa. Senior work day funds will help defray the expense of the evening.
