Lomitans Ask Election Set On Annexation CauutT MILLBRAE, July petitions containing signatures of approximately 320 Lomita Park voters will be presented to Millbrae City Clerk Isobel Smart either today or tomorrow, it was revealed today, requesting eouncilmcn here to set the date of a Lomita Park annexation election when they meet next Tuesday. Over Half Cjaimed According to petition circulators, over half of the approximately 575 registered voters in Lomita "Park have signed petitions. Each petition, they declared, contained 80 signatures. Mrs. Myra Bourne, who will act as city clerk next week in the absence of Mrs.

Smart on vacation, is expected to take the petitions to Redwood City, Monday afternoon to certify signatures. Councilmen are expected to take the next to last step in the long annexation procedure Tuesday evening when they officially icccive the Lomita Park appeal. At that time a date sometimes in December, is fipeclcd to be bet for an annexation election. Previous Bid The coming election will be the second annexation proposal on by Lomita Park during the past two years.
