Annual Picnic The Men's club of St. Catherine's church recently held the first of its special weekly meetings to lay plans for the coming fourth annual parish picnic at Mangini's park in Menlo Park on May 30 from 10 a.m. to 6 p. m. The event will offer races and games for all youngsters, married and unmarried men and women, and a baseball game between the St.

Catherine's Men's club and the men of Our Lady of Angels, parish, also in Burlingame. The picnic, under the direction of Peter Venerdi, is the annual fund raiser for the club's sports program which benefits the boys and girls of the St. Catherine's school. Myron Sadler, chairman of refreshments, has announced thai all manner of refreshments will be available at the park. His committee includes Joe Stopple, Chuck Galloway, Bill Sullivan, John Bria, Joe Thatn, Hal Ryan and Fred Knoll.

Parking, admission, and such details will be handled by Joe Kleirt- ert with the help of George Watt, Frank Ricei and Joe Fernandez. Tom Gordon heads the dancing and games committee. Joe Aliamus will take charge ot master of ceremonies duties and first aid, and Ed Arnold will conduct the baseball game. On the finance committee are: Lou Furrer, Don Delwig, Bob Bauer, George Bonnes, Irv Redmond, Frank Dunn, Larry Putman, Bill Tribbe, Dick Greening and Jim McAuliffe. To reach the park, picnickers will drive south on El Camino to Menlo Park, then turn right onto Santa Cruz avenue and follow the signs to the big event.

Young Pianists To Play in Recital a i Kislingbury-Kerr will present her piano pupils in recital at the Burlingame Women's club next Friday evening at 8 o'clock.
