Airman Flees Poland in Jet ROENNE. Bornholm, Denmark Iff)--A man identifying.himself as Polish Air Force lieutenant jet fighter plane 'on' an: Uncompleted airstrip here today and asked political asylum. Air Force officers on this Danish island in the Baltic said his plane was a revised version of the" Russian MIG15 featuring- a much taller rudder, than any seen on a MIG fighter than outside the Iron Curtain. They withheld comment on its probable performance. A big canvas was thrown over the plane and Army and Air Force troops cordoned off the area.

The- pilot was taken into custody for questioning. One of the plane's wing tips was damaged slightly in the landing. Before police arrived, the pilot displayed a map of the small military airport SO-miles'north of the Polish coast. He expressed surprise that the runway construction had not been completed and mildly scolded airport workers for not moving planes parked on the while he circled the field. The map appeared to-be an official print issued to members of the Polish Air Force in-'the region.

(AP Wirephoto) Janet Blair Irked at Fabray Comparison By WILLIAM EWALD United Press Staff Correspondent NEW ghosts of two former TV wives hover uneasily over the Sid Caeser show this season, but Janet Blair, wife number three, refuses to believe in spooks. "I'm absolutely flabbergasted, really flabbergasted, the way everyone is out to compare me with Nan Fabray and Imogene Coca," bristled the blonde Miss Blair. "I'll be darned if 1-11 be compared. This comparison business, frankly, just embarrasses me. "I'm Janet Blair.

I have my own talent, my own way 'of expressing myself. Imogene is Imogene. Who could ever be like her? She's a fantastic performer. And Nan wonderful at expressing herself--I was terribly upset myself when and Sid broke up." Offered Own Scries Miss Blair, who has moved through successive stages as a citizen of Altoona, a singer with the Hal Kemp band, an in- genue in Hollywood, a performer on the night club circuit and a star of the "South Pacific" road company, signed with Caesar last April. "I had been offered.my own series many times, but I guess that HugkesCopyrights Go to Brother LOS ANGELES pert Hughes left his estate, consisting almost entirely of copy rights and manuscripts and yielding $500 income a to his brother Felix, a voice teacher.

Rupert, who died Sept. 9'at 84. had resided the past few years his brother's home here. His will directed that if Felix died first the property should go to Felix's wife. Ruby, "in deep appreciation for the loving acre and maintenance with which they have pro vided me 'during, the.

latter- part of life." -'The will, dated Jan. 8. 1954. made no mention of Hughes' nephew, Howard, multimillionaire industrialist. Doesn't make me particularly unique that happens to most stars," said Miss Blair.

"A TV series is not the most divine thing to do, TV has such an immediate impact that a performer can kill himself by laying an. egg. So I was quite wary." Her first show with Caesar this season was a little rough, but Miss Blair feels time will iron out the bumps. "It's terribly unfair to judge a performer on a show like this on the basis of one or two shows," she said. "'You know, Sid was ill just before our first show and we barely had any time to rehearse our 'commuters' sketch together at -all.

"It'll take us four, five, six shows, I think, before we really start working as a team. Look at other teams like Burns and Allen and how long they're been working together. Why, it takes years sometimes before'you really work out "the right kind of give-and- take attitude." Asks Fair Chance "In a sense, Nan had it easier than I did. She was kind of eased in as Imogene Coca's replacement--she had' been on the Caesar show a few times' before she became a 'permanent member. All I'm asking for is some time and a fair chance." There is a chance, of course, that' the force of Caesar's personality may push Miss Blair into a permanent second banana status, a fate which, some say, Miss Fabray feared.

feel'I'm still Janet'Blair. I and. I don't intend, lose. my identity as Janet Blair," said Caesar's new wife. "And if I do begin to lose my identify on the show then I'm defeating my purpose which is to fulfill 'myself as a performer." False Alarms Keep S.S.F.

By ALINE MOSBY United Frew Hollywood Writer HOLLYWOOD (UP)-- Johnny Carson is sad to report he's struck out for the second time on television, this time by what he fears is a menace to viewers: Reruns of filmed serials. The affable comedian with thc college-type face and easy humor was launched on CBS-TV a year ago on a night show. Last spring that stint was cancelled- and Carson moved to a different daytime program. Without Show 1 But after 13 weeks he finds himself without a show.

The network sold reruns of "Our Miss Brooks" to a sponsor so" the Carson show ends this Friday--despite its good rating and good reviews. "It's the new cycle on TV- filmed programs and reruris." Carson mourned as he waited back stage for his daily stint. "This means somebody who is something fresh in a live show, something different from quiz programs, is taken off the air. Reruns Flood Daytime TV "The networks are flooding the daytime with reruns. Next we'll have 'Miss Brooks Returns Again, and Again and Carson particularly is frustrated about this new twist of fate because his program had one of the top daytime ratings.

His August Nielsen rating was 5.9, which he says was better than NBC's Tennessee Ernie Ford Show. "The mail was great," Carson went on. "Many women wrote how glad they were we didn't insult their intelligence or play down to them. "It seems so unfair to pull the rug out from under us. This has happened to other shows, too, such as.

'Four Star With the movie studios dumping their major backlogs on television, what will happen to the live shows? Live Entertainment Urged "I think TV should have a certain amount of 'live entertainment. Film just doesn't have the same' impact." Carson figures the cancellation of the show may have a gold- plated lining for him. He's received offers to appear in movies and also do night club acts in Las Vegas, Nev. "Of course, I'm still under contract to CBS so I'll do guest shots for them, beginning with the Ed Sullivan Show on Oct. 14.
