PAGE TWO THE SAN MATEO TIMES AND DAILY KEW3 LEAMB MONDAT, AUGUST 13, 1933 Society Clubs Lodges Personals Florence Robertson Becomes Bride Here At Pretty Ceremony At one of the prettiest home weddings of the season, Miss Florence Robertson of San Mateo became the bride of Clarence of Burlingame on Saturday evening ot 8:45 o'clock at the home of the Mahon and Frank McMahon of Highland avenue. Tho ceremony was performed by Rev. John Donaldson of San Francisco, formerly of the First Presbyterian church of Burlmgame, and was witnessed by about 50 relatives and close friends of the two families. Flowers were banked in front of a window und by the use of a profusion of old-fashioned flowers a charming setting was formed for the ceremony. Baskets of flowers were placed throughout the home.

Tho bride has been a resident of this community since last September and has accumulated a large circle of friends. During the past three years she has been connected with a well known firm in San Francisco, At the ceremony sKe was beautifully dressed in white georgette made with a close fitted bodice and bouffant skirt. She wore a wreath of orange blossoms on her head and carried a shower bouquet of gardenias and lilies-of- the-vnlley tied with silver ribbon and malinc. Miss Dorothy Robeitson, sister of the bride, was the maid-of- honor, and wore a charming Alice- blue crepe-de-chinu dress made with a close fitted bodice and full 1 she carried pink butter- eldrt fly roses and purple pansies. Miss Virginia Brown of Son Francisco, was the bridesmaid und her lovely dress of pale green georgette was made similar to the other attendant ai)d she carried yellow roses and urplc pansies.

Newman performed the ceremony at 4 o'clock in the gardens of the home. Hydrangeas and lilies fringed the pools in front of which the wedding took place. The bridal" procession aisle marked by tall urns filled with flowers. Julien Hart, father of the bride, gave her in marriage. Her gown of white satin was embroidered in pearls and He satin train was covered with rose point lace and the lace veil was held in place by a Circlet of orange blossoms.

Attendants were Miss Elizabeth Mack, maid of honpr, and Mrs. Paul Warburg and Mrs. Albert L. Brown, matrons of honor. All were dressed alike in blue lavendar chiffon made with a long drape at the back and the leghorn hats were trimmed with lavendar to mulch the frocks.

Bridesmaids wore shell pink chiffon and the largo hats were trimmed with streamers of ynik. Tbey were Mrs. Paul Wolf, Miss Nell Walter, Mrs. Mary Anne Neustadter, Miss Louise Rosenberg, Miss Doris Weinberger and Miss Gertrude Lederman. Martin Mjtau was best man.

Supper was served on the lawns and the bride's table was covered with a doth of silver and decorated with white flowers. Tables for tho guests were decorated with pink flowers. The biide is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julion llait of San Francisco.
